This engine cage fits '05-'15 and '16-'23 Toyota Tacomas. We recommend installing this at the time of cage installation because if not, you will have re-remove your windshield and dash to access the cage for welding. You can choose between either our standard or airbox clearanced engine cage kit. The airbox clearance option will allow you to mount your stock airbox. The standard option was designed to give you higher clearance to access the side of your motor.
- CNC cut and bent
- 1-3/4" x .120wa and 1-1/2" x .120wa DOM tubing
- Ties into TE Designs Tacoma cages (TRA-0036 and TRA-0049)
- Some tubes have been slightly extended at the ends to allow for better customization/fit of your shock towers
- Battery requires relocation
- Significant modifications to engine bay required
- Does not work as a stand alone kit
The photos shown are of the airbox clearance option. Please note, the tubes going to the bump stop cans are not included, reference the diagram if needed.
